The very first 100% digitally footwear collection realized by French Designer Julien Fournié was shown on July 8th during the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. The collection, unveiled in preview in May in Los Angeles, was entirely realized with Romans CAD technology.
Digitization, virtualization and interactivity are essential trends in shoe process design. By using Romans CAD, Fournié has had the opportunity not only to draw and simulate his models in 3D, to mix colors and materials, but to visualize and optimize his creations.
Romans CAD represents a complete 3D/2D Design and DM software suite that helps designers and companies across footwear industry to design, visualize and develop their products. Digitization, virtualization and interactivity are essential trends in shoe process design and Romans CAD is optimally positioned not only to serve this trends but to shape them.
Julien Fournié is partner designer of Fashion Lab, Dassault Systèmes’ incubator dedicated to fashion design and new technologies. The show presentations of Julien collection were entirely organized by Fashion Lab.
