RCS 2D OTHER INDUSTRIES
The benchmark product for the soft materials industry
We offer two products:
- RCS 2D MS for pattern making
- RCS SL for calculating raw materials consumption and costs, and optimising operations along
the manufacturing chain.
RCS 2D MS
The benchmark product for the creation of 2D patterns
Used for editing 2D graphics data (pieces). Enabling designers to work these patterns with the highest precision is one of RCS 2D MS’s outstanding strengths. The majority of new RCS 2D MS features – such as ‘clamps’, ‘folds’, ‘gusset’, or the interdependence of pieces – were developed in consultation with our existing customers.
Being compatible with the vast variety of cutting machines currently on the market is an invaluable advantage. RCS 2D MS also allows you to prepare the stitching chassis and provides an interface with sewing machines and 3D printers.
RCS 2D MS integrates all the furniture manufacturer’s know-how and thanks to the integration of its unique technology, it will allow you to turn development departments into genuine profit centres.
Benefits :
- Genuine CAD software integrating
powerful business features tested by
some of the furniture industry’s largest
brands
- Capitalise on your know-how, create
parametric subsets
- Integrated with RCS DM

RCS SL OTHER INDUSTRIES
Calculate your raw materials consumption and the cost of your operations (manufacturing chain).
Working from pieces generated in RCS 2D MS or any other CAD software, RCS SL allows you
to calculate your raw materials consumption as well as the length of time needed for operations.
Benefits:
- Calculate raw materials consumption using different methods: graph paper, parallelograms, on
homogenous materials or skins
- Calculate different operation times (e.g. skiving, padding, stitching, etc.). These operations will also
allow you to calculate your labour costs
- Integrated with RCS DM
RCS SL Other Industries includes the same features as the shoe version
RCS 2D MS and RCS SL can also operate in CLOUD mode and are major components
of the added value chain generated by the planning departments
